Young in Lost of Speed

Young people nowadays become like a bike without a break and lost control. When an elderly is advising a younger one, this one will take it as if it was a conflict of generation and cannot even take the advise.
As young people didn't want to listen to the advises of their parents, they became like as I said it before; like a bike or a car without a break.
Parents wants to act as such but these ones are thinking that their parents are too old and they can't come up with something constructive in this 21st century which is the world of speed and high technology.
Who to blame when our own children cannot be conteolled by yourself? I remember in the Zaire of Mobutu, as my child dropped out of school and can't be advise by his parents or the community; he was sent to military services and parents were forgetting that a such child will become a trouble maker and a problem to his community. Look at the end of the Mobutu regime and you'll notice that the army was recruiting robbers and bandits who instead of protecting the population, but they were the one to kill, rob and kill them.
Our society needs young people who can contribute to the development of our continent and not the one vandalising public and private properties.
It seems that the food education out parents transmitted to us was not well transmitted to our children. Nowadays parents are the ones to be blamed for the lost of speed for their parents because their too relactant regarding to the education of their children.
Coming late for some parents is the major fact which is spoilling our children. The role of parents is not only for providing food and the other necessities to their children but also to guide and give them education. I can still remember a parent who approached me one day and told me that you spoilled my children because they cannot listen to me anymore. You told our children that us their parents when we punished them for their wrong doing, they have to take us to the Police office and now we (parents) are afraid to talk to them. Us their parents were not raised like that because our parents could punish us because of iur wrong doing.
As a youth counselor, I don't recognize to tell children to take their parents is to Police because it is he duty of parents to advise, correct and lead their children in a productive way.
Where are we going with young people in the lost of speed?
