The qualifications for the quarter finals will be played today between 15h00 to 21h00 in eight (08) African stadiums.
In some groups, the results of most of the games will not change anything at all as some teams are already qualified.
In Group A, All Ahly and ES Tunis have 10 points each followed by KCCA with 6 points and the last team in this group is Township Rollers with 3 points. The two teams needs only draws and they will be qualified for the next stage.
For the Group B, TP Mazembe is leading the group with 11 points whereby Difaa El Jadida is following with 5 points. In case Difaa win the TP Mazembe, it means that Difaa will complete 8 points. Difaa is int the position that he must win to secure his visa for the next stage. ES Setif and MC Alger have each 5 points and they have all the chance to qualify for the next stage. In this group, nothing is yet played for the second place for the next stage with TP Mazembe as they secure already their ticket for the next stage.
In the Group C, Wydad C is with 11 points followed by Horoya AC 8 points, Mamelodi 5 points and Togo Port 3 points. Mamelody will receive Horoya and Mamelodi may qualify for the next stage as they will play at home and they will get the full support of their supporters.
In the last Group which is D, Etoile due Sahel has secure his ticket for the next stage with 11 points followed by Primeiro de Agosto with 6 points. Primero de Agosto will play at home and has the chance of qualifying as playing at home but surprises in soccer cannot be excluded at all and Primero de Agosto can be surprised in front of their supporters.

CAF CHAMPIONS LEAGUE Group Stage
This Tuesday 28 August 2018, African soccer temples will be in move in three stadiums (DRC and Algeria). Two Algerian teams will confront in their own land namely MC Alger and ES Serif.
In DRC, TP Mazembe will receive Difaa El Jadida, a Moroccan team.
Difaa El Jadida is a team founded since 1956 and plays in the El Abdi Stadium but the team is not well known by the African public.
Five times this team appeared for the African competition in terms of two appearances in the CAF Champions League, 2010 and the current one.
For the CAF Confederation, the team appeared twice again, in 2011 and 2014.
The team also appeared once in the CAF Cup Winners' Cup in the 1986.

For this month of August 2018, Tunisia took the lead of the African the continental ranking according to the FIFA world ranking published on the 16 of this month.
According to the table of ranking of August, Tunisia lost three places and it's the first country in Africa. Morroco lost five places and this country is the fifth position in Africa and forty-six in the world. Nigeria lost one position and come in the seventh position in Africa and forty-nineth in the world.

All ahly and Wydad won but TP Mazembe Defends his Class
Tonight,the CAF Champions League matches were played in three African arenas whereby Al Ahly won by a score of 1-0. In a mach in Tunisia, the visitors from Egypt got reason of the home team and the two opponents are qualified for the next stage.
In another game, TP Mazembe was received by the Algerians of ES Sétif. The Algerians were the first the score at 59th minutes while the visitors equalized after 17 minutes of playing.

LET'S TALK CAF CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
Three African stadium will vibrate at the rhythm of the CAF Champions League.
All the six teams will take their ways to the stadium for a victory or a draw game to keep a good positition in this race to the continental crown.
For the first game, the Togoleses of Togo-Port will be visitors of the Guineans of Horiya in Conakry. Horoya wants also to write his history in the Champions League by winning this game at home.
The second game will be played at 20Hours in Morocco whereby the South Africans of Mamelodi Sundown will be received by the Moroccans of Wydad Athletic Club in the Stade Mohammed V.
Mamelodi Sundown tasted the CAF champions league by winning once this prestigious cup in 2016 and they wish to make the same achievement in 2018, the end of this game will tell us who between the Moroccans and the South African is right.
The last game of the Champions League for this week end will face the Algerians of ES Serif and the TP Mazembe from DRC.

African Soccer
After exchanging stories with my audience, I decided to change the topics of my blog. Africans are most interested more in the Europeans soccer but African soccer is being played in empty stadiums without spectators. We want African soccer to reach the European level when ourselves cannot even support our brothers and sisters engaged in it.
If we want that African soccer can reach the level of European soccer, we have to start supporting our own teams because we want it to progress. Many people in Africa know well Europeans and South American players but they didn't know even a single African player.
We cannot have good players in Africa if are not willing to buy their jersey but we prefer to buy Ronaldo's jersey.
We have fan club teams in our continent but we can't make one for Togo-Port which a continental club. We are the first to blame our teams instead of encouraging them.
Maybe by changing this blog from stories to sports it will attract many fellow Africans to love our soccer. I can't mention here other spot codes because it is frightful as our people don't even know the name of their basketball names.
Analyses, fixtures and results will be given here of all soccer games.
This weekend there'll be six games which will be played in six African stadium. On the menu this week end:

Young in Lost of Speed
Young people nowadays become like a bike without a break and lost control. When an elderly is advising a younger one, this one will take it as if it was a conflict of generation and cannot even take the advise.
As young people didn't want to listen to the advises of their parents, they became like as I said it before; like a bike or a car without a break.
Parents wants to act as such but these ones are thinking that their parents are too old and they can't come up with something constructive in this 21st century which is the world of speed and high technology.
Who to blame when our own children cannot be conteolled by yourself? I remember in the Zaire of Mobutu, as my child dropped out of school and can't be advise by his parents or the community; he was sent to military services and parents were forgetting that a such child will become a trouble maker and a problem to his community. Look at the end of the Mobutu regime and you'll notice that the army was recruiting robbers and bandits who instead of protecting the population, but they were the one to kill, rob and kill them.
Our society needs young people who can contribute to the development of our continent and not the one vandalising public and private properties.
It seems that the food education out parents transmitted to us was not well transmitted to our children. Nowadays parents are the ones to be blamed for the lost of speed for their parents because their too relactant regarding to the education of their children.
Coming late for some parents is the major fact which is spoilling our children. The role of parents is not only for providing food and the other necessities to their children but also to guide and give them education. I can still remember a parent who approached me one day and told me that you spoilled my children because they cannot listen to me anymore. You told our children that us their parents when we punished them for their wrong doing, they have to take us to the Police office and now we (parents) are afraid to talk to them. Us their parents were not raised like that because our parents could punish us because of iur wrong doing.
As a youth counselor, I don't recognize to tell children to take their parents is to Police because it is he duty of parents to advise, correct and lead their children in a productive way.
Where are we going with young people in the lost of speed?
